ACC: Improving safety in the home

Accidents at home are ubiquitous and the injury toll is unnecessarily high.  We've been spreading the message on home safety for three years.

Acumen have led an extensive and highly successful media relations campaign, focusing on raising the awareness of the risk of home accidents and how they can be avoided.

Elements of the campaign we devised in 2008 have become enduring parts of the Safety Week program, including the 'Did You Know' concept as a story telling mechanism, the use of primary schools as a channel to parents, and a partnership program with businesses (like DIY retailers) as a channel for promotional materials and  messaging.
