Accounts Director - Wellington
Acumen Republic is seeking an outstanding marketing communications PR professional to join our N.B. Marketing team as Account Director. This is an opportunity to direct account teams and work on a superb client portfolio.
You need at least six to eight years experience in B2B and B2C environments with a broad communications toolkit and experience in running proactive media relations campaigns. Your energy levels will be high, you'll be focused on exceptional client results and you will know how to direct account teams with enthusiasm and intelligence. In addition, your craft skills will be honed; you will be creative in your thinking and will have attention to detail in your execution.
Experience in one or other of healthcare, education, retail or public sector marketing would be advantageous.

Senior Account Manager - Wellington
A vacancy exists in our Wellington corporate communications team for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. The vacancy has arisen because of an internal transfer to our Auckland team.
We are seeking a vibrant corporate communications professional with between 4 and 6 years experience working with on-line, print and broadcast media, with strong writing skills and with project or production management expertise. Agency experience preferred but not essential.
This vibrant person will have business acumen, be a creative thinker and have intellectual curiosity. We value people with a can-do approach to tasks, a sense of humour and who enjoy working in a demanding environment gaining new knowledge.

Event Manager (Full or part-time) - Wellington
If you have an amazing eye for detail, creative flair and a passion for delivering outstanding events then we have a great opening in our Dazzle Events team.
Dazzle Events is a premiere event management company and part of Acumen Republic. This role gives you the opportunity to work alongside some of New Zealand's leading corporate and marketing communications professionals, as well as some of the best event managers.
We are looking for a full or part-time Wellington based Event Manager with at least three years' experience in the events industry and in delivering events. EventsPro experience would be great.
We are seeking a blend of creativity and an eye for detail including experience in developing and managing critical paths, run plans and budgets. Some people might regard your fastidious attributes as being a little "over the top", we just think they are essential to good outcomes.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a couple of events and therefore your hours will need to be scheduled around the annual work plan of those events.

Account Director, Government Relations - Wellington
Acumen Republic is a corporate and marketing communications agency with a 30-year history and operates in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney. We are looking for a senior government relations/public affairs specialist to join our Wellington team, to help lead that part of our practice as well as other corporate communications consulting work. The team provides government relations advice for clients in a wide range of sectors including technology, finance, building and construction, travel and transport, and manufacturing sectors.
We are looking for a senior consultant who has a good knowledge of government machinery; someone who understands advocacy; who knows who you talk to about what and when - as well as having strong relationships across the House and within the executive.
The successful candidate will also undertake general corporate relations work for technology, finance and banking and government clients so we need 6-10 years+ experience, all-round communications skills, including writing, a good understanding of the media and project management skills, as well as the government relations capability.
