Practice Leader Events

This is an opportunity for a dynamic events professional to lead a top-notch event management and activation team with one of New Zealand's leading integrated communications agencies.  You must have a proven ability to lead teams as well as an exemplary record of accomplishment in delivering first rate corporate and consumer events.

We are looking for a standout individual with 10+ years' events experience, ideally with some of that gained in an agency environment, who can take what is already a first-class offering to the next level.

Your team sits within a broader communications consultancy, meaning you will be working alongside some of New Zealand's leading public relations and marketing professionals as well as other dazzling event managers.  Our client roster is blue chip and you will have the opportunity to lead some high profile projects.

This superb individual will need to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Take a strategic leadership role in the development of the business
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Inspire and motivate a team
  • Provide a strong creative drive
  • Be hands on to deliver large and small-scale events end-to-end and to run multiple projects.

We want someone with a positive, motivated approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for and commitment to the business of event management.

You will need to enjoy working in a demanding consulting environment and have the ability to thrive on challenges with a varied workload in a fast-paced business that also offers a lot of variety.
